Job Description:
  • Manage "Large-Scale Construction Project", which involves hands-on operations, coordinating and overseeing external units, supervising consultants, contractors and vendors
  • Follow up on the construction work and related administration tasks of the infrastructure project
  • Monitor the performance of the engineering consultants and vendors, including but not limited to time management, cost management, and quality of project execution
  • Responsible for coordinating the internal requirements of the Bank and the external units, consultants, contractors, and vendors
  • Supervise and ensure that the project is completed in compliance with the bank's established processes and requirements within the budget and timeline
  • Familiar with the construction and the operation of electromechanical system of large-scale construction projects, including the layout of data centers, system design, and infrastructure, etc.
 
Requirements:
  • Degree holder of an engineering or related disciplines (architecture, structural or electrical/mechanical engineering is preferred), with a business management background would be an advantage
  • Over 15 years of work experience, including experience in large-scale infrastructure projects; prior experience working in the banking industry is preferred
  • Membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects, the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, or equivalent professional qualifications
  • Proficient in using a variety of relevant computer software and techniques (including: MS Office, AutoCAD)
  • Possess strong organizational, planning, execution, and coordination abilities, with effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English; fluency in Mandarin is required
  • Professional knowledge of building regulations, construction techniques, and electromechanical systems
