(Senior) Customer Analytics & Data Science Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the data infrastructure team to optimize the data model to facilitate customer analytics and data marketing operations
  • Keep abreast of the development trend of market technology and customer behavior change to promote innovation, effectively use fintech and data solutions to promote the use of data to derive business value
  • Assist the Head of Customer Intelligence to provide the overall data strategy, and lead professional data teams to improve analytics effectiveness
  • Explore, promote and implement analytical tools across the team to enhance data user’s experience and productivity
  • Act as the data steward to master the data management initiatives and maintain data control in data governance to ensure compliance of the respective internal and external regulations, policies, and guidelines for data
  • Ensure the relevant rules and regulations, policies and procedures are followed; identify and control the potential or existing risks, report to superiors and related units, and make rectification measures and follow up
  • Maintain close communication and collaboration with business units to promote the use of data
  • Supervise the subordinates on tasks, and provide appropriate support, assistance and encouragement
  • Assess the performance of subordinates through measurable indicators and clear responsibilities setup, provide timely feedback appropriate guidance, and take adjustment measures when needed
  • Report timely to superiors on data analysis application strategy, policy and program's latest development and trend, create a risk awareness culture and monitor overall asset quality, ensuring the overall service quality of the unit is at an acceptable level
  • Ensuring all work is performed within the predefined risk level and meets the relevant legal and compliance requirements

Requirements:

  • Degree or above with major in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business Administrations, Finance, or related discipline
  • Over 10 years working experience in data analytics, data science, data governance, data management, or MIS; 5 years of which at managerial level
  • Familiar with data architecture, cloud solution, banking products and operations enhancement
  • Experience in various statistical analysis, programming, and visualization tools including SAS, Python, Qlik, Tableau
  • Experience in large scale project management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with good command of English and Chinese in both spoken and written including Mandarin
  • Familiar with Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
  • Candidate with less experience will be consider as Customer Analytics & Data Science Manager
