Job description:
- monitor and provide guidance on NPL recovery to related entities in Southeast Asian countries (“SEAoch countries), including formulation of relevant policies and regulations, progress of recovery actions, analysis and review of major recovery proposals, review the credit rating and provision calculation, management system maintenance;
- seek proper internal approval for various strategies, repayment plans or legal actions, and monitor the progress of repayment / implementation;
- monitor the NPL portfolio composition, understand and analyze the underlying reasons of change and prepare regular reports of each SEA related entity or from the overall SEA portfolio perspective ;
- investigate the reasons of default and prepare due diligence reports, as well as share the findings with various related parties;
- handle non-performing loans portfolio from institutional banking, corporate banking, and commercial banking;
- negotiate / liaise with borrowers and other lenders as well as professionals to work out the restructuring / repayment plan;
- prepare special reports or analyses with specific focus for reporting to senior management.
Job requirement:
- full time degree holder or above with major in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or relevant discipline etc.;
- 5 years’ relevant banking experiences is preferred, such as Credit Assessment, Credit Approval, Loan Monitoring, and Special Assets Management etc., having corporate restructuring or financial advisory experience, or work experience in Southeast Asian countries is a plus;
- have knowledge about the commercial law and relevant civil litigation procedures in Hong Kong and the Mainland China;
- competent Chinese and English writing skills, fluent in Mandarin and English (proficiency in Cantonese would be an advantage);
- knowledgeable about corporate lending, retail credit, and relevant banking products and legal documentation;
- strong negotiation and inter-personal skills;
- well versed in MS Office, MS Words, Excel and other common statistical, reporting and analytical tools.
