Scope of Position

 

As coordinator to the VPs of Global Revenue Management you will be responsible to provide administrative and secretarial support, and assist with reporting, presentations, and other projects for the global revenue department when needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist VPs of Revenue Management in all administrative areas as required.
  • Acting as a first point of contact: managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments internally and externally.
  • Handle all administration including but not limited to expenses, annual leave, etc.
  • Book and organize travel for VPs of Revenue Management, plus completing necessary permission forms, Visas and coordinating with hotels as needed.
  • Provide confidential secretarial service for VPs of Revenue Management
  • Coordinate CAPEX requests for department.
  • Assist with preparation of annual departmental expense budget.
  • Instruct accounts department regarding budget allocations, payment of invoices, staff expenses, etc.
  • Assist with preparation for business review, annual Budget meetings or hotel visits.
  • Assist in the preparation and co-ordination of meetings and or trainings.
  • Assist the Corporate Revenue Operations Manager with various tasks and projects.
  • Prepare reports for Global Revenue & Distribution Management as needed, using various systems, including but not limited to Datavision, IDeaS, SynXis, OTAInsight, TravelCLICK, Brand.com etc.
  • Create other PowerPoint presentations as needed.
  • Consolidate regular and ad-hoc reports from the field.
  • Perform competitive rate shops and assist with rate audits.
  • Audit various distribution channels to ensure they comply with MOHG brand guidelines.
  • Collect and track responses of individual hotel agreements as part of a Global Contract and maintain up to date records of global agreements.
  • Fully utilize MOHG Revenue Management related computer software programs as necessary.
  • Assist in updating the Revenue and Commercial departmental extranet site CENTRAL
  • Participate and keep up to date on all MOHG training and procedural changes as directed by Global Revenue & Distribution Management
  • Collect and track team’s annual leave and Balance Scorecard results
  • Fully utilize MOHG RM related computer software programs as necessary.
  • Participate and keep up to date on all MOHG training and procedural changes as directed by VP of Global Revenue & Distribution Management.
  • Act as the departmental representative within the MOHG European Head Office

Requirements:

  • Ideally completed a degree in Hospitality management with an interest in Revenue Management
  • Some Project Management and analytical skills required.
  • Data driven mindset
  • Solid oral, written and inter-personal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Advanced computer knowledge including Microsoft Office, email and internet.
  • Advanced MS Excel and MS Power Point user.
  • Able to develop and deliver effective presentation.
