Main Responsibilities

  • Assign rooms according to guest requests and preferences whenever possible
  • Review, track, and accommodate requests for room or check-out changes when feasible
  • Communicate room status to the appropriate departments
  • Confirm new reservations, changes, and cancellations with the involved departments
  • Follow up with guests to ensure their requests or issues have been resolved to their satisfaction
  • Review out-of-order rooms daily and follow up accordingly
  • Follow up on departures and update the system with departure times
  • Monitor room status and coordinate with Housekeeping, IRD, and Front Office
  • Provide direction and support to all Front Office colleagues at any time, especially during operational hours
  • Follow the duty schedule and ensure all tasks are completed timely
  • Constantly identify areas for improvement in Front Office service quality through guest comments, comment cards, and guest incident reports, and share observations and recommendations with the Guest Services Manager or Front Office Manager

Requirements

  • Senior School qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in the Middle East is an advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment.
  • A minimum of 1 year of Concierge/ Guest Relations/ Front Office experience
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office products, PSMS, GoConcierge, HotSoS
