As a Sous Chef in our Club Lounge, you will work closely with our Head Chef to oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. You will play a key role in menu planning, staff training, and maintaining a clean, efficient, and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in all kitchen operations, including preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals.
  • Develop and execute innovative and seasonal menus that align with the club’s standards.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen.
  • Manage inventory and control food costs without compromising quality.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and served on time, maintaining consistency and quality.
  • Participate in the selection of high-quality ingredients and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Step in to perform the duties of the Head Chef in their absence.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless dining experience for members

.Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in the culinary industry.
  • Experience of the Middle East market preferred.
  • A confident & dynamic speaker, able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of an organization.
  • Enthusiastic and positive personality with the ability to build trusting relationships with others.
  • Proven organizational skills, works well on their own. Able to set and meet deadlines with quality results.
