Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino is located on the southwest coast of the Peloponnese, one of the most unspoiled and breath-taking landscapes in the Mediterranean, and 45 minutes’ drive from Kalamata International Airport.

The beachfront resort is part of the sustainable resort destination of Costa Navarino, a well-established tourism destination which includes 3 other resorts. It comprises 99 guest rooms, including 48 pool villas, all with outdoor terraces and sea views, along with five restaurants and bars.

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Comprehension and compliance with Corporate and Hotel policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Inspect, check, and release hotel rooms for arrivals in accordance with set MO standards.
  • Maintain an overview of the daily occupancy, arrivals, departures, traces, and important guests in house.
  • Create daily task sheets for room attendants with special projects and traces.
  • Monitor stock in pantries and act accordingly if refill is needed.
  • Manage and oversee the daily operation on assigned floors.
  • Train, coach and motivate room attendants to achieve the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

  • EU passport is mandatory in order to work in Greece
  • Minimum of 3 years housekeeping experience and 1 year in an Assistant Manager position, in a luxury resort / hotel.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently, respectfully and fairly in a diverse environment.
  • Flexibility is paramount as it relates to the schedule for this position (AM, MID, Evening Shifts).
  • Proficiency in English and an additional language.
  • Passion for luxury environment and details.
