Job Duties and Responsibilities of Project Assistant

  • To assist on preparing the cost estimate of the project.
  • To assist in checking request for proposal (RFP) for consultant, calling tender, closing tender and evaluation of consultant tender bid which includes attending the tender interview and recommendation for award.
  • To assist in preparing the Tender Plan (TP) and give presentation to the owner on appointing consultant/ contractor to the project.
  • Involved in checking the tender document.
  • Monitoring and involved in the contractor's calling tender, closing tender and open technical and commercial tender.
  • Assist in preparing the Techno-Commercial Evaluation Award Recommendation Report (TCEAR) and give presentation to the owner on appointing the consultant/ contractor to the project.
  • Assist in preparing Authority Approval Memo to appoint the recommended consultant/ contractor to the project.
  • Assist in preparing Capex Expenditure Request (CER) for MOHG approval.
  • Preparing and issuing letter of Award to the successful consultant/ contractor. 
  • Employee relations in relation to communication, maintaining motivation and good relationship.
  • Support the Director of Engineering and Hotel's project team in successful project delivery.

Job Requirement

  • Diplôma/ Dégrée in Architecture/ Project Management or équivalent
  • At least 3 year(s) relevant working experience in construction industry / environment Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, and regulations and codes
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project      
  • Computer literate
  • Able to work on CAD drawings and read plans
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of other languages is an advantage
  • Strength in organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent business communication skills (verbal and written English)
