Summary The Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of all aspects of the Front Desk functions, in accordance with hotel standards. Directs, implements and maintains a service and management philosophy which serves as a guide to respective colleagues.
The Role of the Guest Services Supervisor
Job Responsibilities:
• This position is responsible to supervise the activities manages at the hotel front desk, including check-in/ check-out, guest requests and support and promotion of in-house activities. As a Guest Service Supervisor, you will oversee the front office activities between the guest, the hotel, and the various hotel departments. A Guest Service Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities that create the first impressions of our Guests. • Ensure effective implementation of the IMS policy and procedures • Ensure continuous training and awareness of the IMS system • Ensure OTPs are monitored and acted upon • Ensure operational compliance to legal regulations and other requirements • Identification of new activities that are in relation to EASI and HIRADC.
Job Requirement
Minimum SPM qualifications, preferably credits in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Graduate of Hotel School would be an added advantage
Previous working experience in hospitality or tourism related industry, preferably in Front Office operations but not essential
Basic knowledge of Par Springer Miller System (PSMS) and computer literate
Willing to work shift duties
Able to communicate well with both colleagues and guests
Outgoing personality with a friendly approach
