About the Role

The objective is to design, develop, customize and administer BMC Helix Discovery that align with CMDB, Incident, Problem, Change, DWP and Knowledge Management. Creating and maintaining technical documentation with respect to system design. Exposure to recent Helix releases, implementations, and applications is must.

Key Accountabilities:

• Administration, Configuration and Customizations of BMC Helix CMDB. 
• administration, Configuration and Customizations of BMC Helix Discovery.
• Infrastructure scanning using Helix Discovery solution
• Troubleshooting Helix Discovery scanning issues
• Application/Service Modelling in Discovery
• Reviewing created models with the stakeholders
• Discovery and CMDB Data sync with troubleshooting
• Discovery customizations using TPL
• Develop and implement customer value through development
• Minimize the backlog and aging of support issues
• Data reports from Helix Discovery and Helix Dashboards

Key Capabilities:  

• 7 plus years of experience with BMC Helix Discovery and CMDB Product and features. 
• Understands TMF Group’s business lines, regulatory requirements and how the organization is structured.
• Experience in Administration, Configuration and Customizations of BMC Discovery
• Experience in infrastructure discovery
• Experience in Application/Service modelling
• Experience in Troubleshooting scanning issue
• Experience in The Pattern Language (TPL)
• Experience in updating TKU’s
• Experience/Knowledge of ARS and BMC CMDB
• Experience in BMC discovery and CMDB integrations
• Experience in Developing reports in smart reporting/Helix dashboards
• Experience/Knowledge in Integrating CMDB with multiple data sources
• Ready to learn new capabilities of Helix Platform which involves DWPC, ITSM, CMDB and Dashboards
• Understands own motivation and impact of personal impact to optimize personal and team performance
• Communicates (verbally and through written work) information in a clear and concise manner
• Manage stakeholders' expectations with regards to delivery.
