The Payroll Team Leader will be responsible for leading the Payroll Operations Team dedicated to the selected portfolio of Clients, as well as will act as the main Specialist and Expert in the field of payroll. The Payroll Team Lead will report to HR & Payroll Manager and will work in our office in Katowice (hybrid model).
Key responsibilities:
Planning tasks and allocating work in accordance with the needs of clients
Motivating and developing the competences of employees, supporting their professional development
Monitoring the quality of service provided by the team in terms of entering data into the HR and payroll system, including correct and compliant with legal regulations preparation of payrolls and salary transfers to be carried out in the banking system
Active participation in process improvement projects
Signing relevant documents/tax returns in accordance with the power of attorney received
Contact with state institutions - Social Insurance Institution, Tax Offices, National Labor Inspectorate, Central Statistical Office, State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled People, Employee Capital Plans
Supervising the establishment of personnel files and archiving of commissioned HR and payroll documentation in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures
About you:
4 or 5 + years of experience in a position with a similar scope of responsibilities in the area of HR and Payroll Department (including independent payroll calculation)
1+ years of experience in team management
Higher education
Leadership skills and experience
Very good knowledge of labor law, social security, tax regulations and civil law
Advanced knowledge of MS Office
English proficiency
Knowledge of the ENOVA365 payroll software program and experience in improvements and optimization of HR and Payroll processes is an asset
