About the role

We have a brand-new role available for a Business Change Manager: Communication & Implementation to lead the charge on how transformation-led initiatives are communicated and delivered across our organisation. In this dynamic role, you’ll develop and execute communication plans that engage and align stakeholders, ensuring that every message is clear, consistent, and tailored to support smooth adoption of change. Your work will be pivotal in creating the right narrative around change and making sure it lands effectively with those who need it most.

Reporting to the Senior Business Change Manager – Operational Excellence, Communications & Implementation, you'll play a critical role in shaping how transformation is delivered. You’ll apply the Business Change Framework to ensure every programme or project meets its objectives through structured implementation and well-governed communication. This role is ideal for someone with a strong internal communications background and a clear focus on change communications within a fast-paced, evolving business landscape.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of communication, engagement, and implementation plans that embed transformation-led change and measure its success across the business.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider Business Change team and key stakeholders to ensure all change initiatives are well-planned, effectively communicated, and delivered on time and within budget.
  • Own and manage the Business Change activity plan, proactively flagging capacity risks and aligning with strategic priorities to keep momentum and focus.
  • Take responsibility for process change documentation and version control, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and consistency through the appropriate hosting platforms.
  • Provide clear visibility of implementation plans and progress updates, including stakeholder and end-user insights, to support informed decision-making.
  • Communicate change effectively across the business, using the right channels and messaging strategies tailored to the scale and impact of the transformation.
  • Partner with Internal and Operational Communications teams to craft accurate, engaging, and easy-to-understand messaging, ensuring consistency and clarity across diverse audiences.
  • Own the transition to business-as-usual by ensuring all supporting documentation and communications remain accessible and relevant, and by leading post-implementation reviews to drive continuous improvement.

About you

  • You have a proven track record of delivering clear, accurate, and engaging communications that support successful, first-time-right implementation of change – this could be in a similar business change comms role or an internal comms role with significant experience of business change / transformation comms.
  • You bring experience in business change, project, or programme management, with real-world examples of planning and communicating change in a fast-paced environment.
  • You’re adaptable and confident in adjusting communication and implementation plans in response to shifting priorities or business needs.
  • You’re a strong collaborator who can translate complex messages for diverse audiences, ensuring alignment, engagement, and action.
  • You’re confident using MS365 applications to plan, deliver, and track change communications and documentation effectively.
