About the role

Join Halfords as our Executive Search Partner and play a pivotal role in shaping our leadership team for the future. In this high-impact role, you’ll own the full search lifecycle - from briefing and market mapping to strategic outreach, assessment and final selection - ensuring we attract and secure exceptional, diverse senior talent that drives our business forward. As a trusted partner to our senior leaders, you’ll combine deep strategic insight with tailored, best-in-class hiring approaches, delivering an outstanding experience for candidates and stakeholders alike. Key responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver executive hiring strategies, partnering closely with our most senior leaders.
  • Design and execute bespoke sourcing strategies that attract top-tier, diverse talent.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout every stage of the hiring journey.
  • Deliver a first-class candidate and stakeholder experience, ensuring excellence at every touchpoint.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider resourcing team and peers, ensuring alignment, knowledge sharing, and a joined-up approach to talent acquisition.
  • Use market intelligence and data to shape decisions, drive performance, and challenge the status quo.
  • Be a catalyst for continuous improvement, helping embed a modern, proactive, and value-driven executive search approach.

About you

  • Proven experience delivering senior-level search.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills — you're credible, consultative, and collaborative.
  • A track record of sourcing diverse talent and shaping inclusive hiring strategies.
  • A data-informed mindset and the ability to turn insights into action.
  • Strong governance, project delivery, and influencing capabilities.
