About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Pricing Manager to take ownership of pricing strategy and execution across the Halfords Group. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead a team of four and play a key role in driving profitable growth across our Garages, Retail, and Mobile Expert businesses.

You’ll design and implement effective pricing systems, deliver data-driven insights to influence senior stakeholders, and champion a commercial mindset across the organisation. Key responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a high-performing pricing team that delivers advanced tools, data, and insights to support the entire Halfords Group.
  • Execute the pricing strategy across Retail, Garages, and Mobile, driving continuous improvement and tangible business outcomes.
  • Utilise Excel and SQL to model pricing scenarios and evaluate their impact on sales, profitability, and market share.
  • Manage the competitor pricing intelligence program, including web scraping and third-party partnerships, to maintain a market advantage.
  • Develop compelling business cases for pricing initiatives and promote commercial acumen across trading and buying teams.
  • Create and maintain pricing dashboards and reports in Power BI, Excel, and SQL, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Lead pricing forums with senior stakeholders, facilitating strategic decisions and ensuring follow-through on key actions.

 

About you

  • Established experience in shaping and delivering pricing strategies that drive commercial performance across multiple business units.
  • Strong experience with Excel and SQL building pricing models and analysing the impact of pricing changes on revenue, profit and market share.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience building business cases for pricing decisions and influencing trading and buying teams to adopt data led approach
  • Proficient in Power BI, preferably DAX, with the ability to translate complex pricing data into clear, actionable insight.
  • Confident leading pricing forums, presenting to senior stakeholders, and driving cross-functional alignment.
  • Experience leading and developing a high-performing team, fostering a culture of growth and development.
