About the role
We’re looking for a proactive Retail Implementation Coordinator who is familiar with the Halfords business to drive the launch, management, and evaluation of retail propositions and policy changes. In this role, you’ll develop and oversee communication plans and provide the necessary tools to ensure operational launch readiness. You will also be responsible for approving materials sent to stores and managing workload planning on a large scale.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage implementation plans aligned with the scale of change for retail propositions, policies, and processes.
- Deliver the annual workload and implementation plan covering strategic changes within budget.
- Maintain version control and accuracy of retail operational processes using implementation tools and introduce digital solutions as needed.
- Monitor compliance and performance during implementation, ensuring clear, timely communication with field and store teams in collaboration with Communications and Performance teams.
- Support over 100 commercial and marketing launches annually with documentation aligned to the selling model for smooth execution.
- Ensure policies and processes promote clarity, safety, and compliance for colleagues.
- Maintain digital tools aligned with seasonal and commercial plans to support effective colleague-customer interactions.
- Provide visibility and progress updates of implementation plans to key stakeholders centrally and in the field.
About you
- Personable and Professional demeanour
- Proven experience in leadership or supporting roles within Halfords retail stores
- Strong understanding of tools required to launch, measure and maintain implementation across a multi-site business
- Experience in using communication and reporting tools is desirable

This is a remote position, but you will be required to work on-site at our Support Centre in Redditch, Worcestershire, two days per week. All travel and accommodation expenses will be reimbursed.
