We're looking for a passionate and strategic individual to join us as Organisational Capability Lead on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you’ll lead the development and delivery of our workforce capability plan and frameworks—helping us proactively build the skills and capabilities our people need now and in the future. Aligned to our broader business strategy, your work will drive the professional growth of our colleagues across the Halfords family.
Success in this role hinges on strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration, alongside experience of building and implementing capability frameworks and conducting skills assessments within a complex / large organisation. You’ll work closely with People Business Partners and key business leaders to identify capability gaps, shape development strategies, and ensure initiatives are aligned, relevant, and impactful. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools—especially Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint—to support clear, professional communication and reporting.
