Temporary On-Call Production Technician (Recruitment Only) Swarthmore
Swarthmore College, a highly selective liberal arts college, is located in the suburbs of Philadelphia. The Lang Performing Arts Center (LPAC) integrates the arts into Swarthmore’s curriculum. The space houses many facilities which cater to the needs of the college’s artistic spectrum. The LPAC is versatile in its function: rehearsals, gallery installations, readings, film screenings, classes and performances are all simultaneously hosted within the building, making it a gravitational hub of campus activity. Under supervision, the On-Call Production Technician performs tasks for a variety of programs and events. This person may assist in the load-in, running, and production for performances in the LPAC.
Associate Director, Donor Relations Swarthmore
The Associate Director of Donor Relations assists the Director of Donor Relations in implementing a program with a goal of nurturing positive relationships with leadership donors. The program is composed primarily of donor stewardship, which includes cultivating and stewarding long-term relationships with leadership donors, as well as leadership gift acknowledgment and recognition.
Research Assistant Swarthmore
The successful candidate will work closely with undergraduate students at Swarthmore College, both in the research laboratory, as well as in an upper-level biochemistry laboratory course during the fall semester as a TA. This course is research-based and focuses on protein kinases. Therefore, demonstrated teamwork ability and a strong interest in mentoring undergraduate students is preferred. The research assistant will be encouraged to lead the projects, collaborate with the PI and undergraduate students on high-impact publications, and present at key conferences in the field.

EVS Technician Part Time Temporary (Recruitment Only) Swarthmore
The part time temporary EVS Technician reports to a shift supervisor and provides services to ensure a clean and environmentally healthy campus. Tasks performed include: daily trash removal, cleaning and disinfecting bathroom fixtures and furniture, dusting, vacuuming and cleaning both carpeted and non-carpeted floors and mats, maintaining bathroom paper and other supplies, and other duties as assigned. This position requires scheduling flexibility with the ability to report to work when called upon. Where possible a schedule will be provided in advance. Interested applicants must be able to provide direct contact information to assure availability. Applicants currently employed by other organizations will be considered based on ability to meet the flexibility requirements and on call procedures. At times this position will require additional hours per week, not exceeding 30 total, covering for full-time staff. Interested candidates must be available on weekends and holidays.
Registrar Swarthmore
ROLE OF THE REGISTRAR Reporting directly to the dean of students and working closely with the provost (regarding academic policies, degree requirements, curriculum and honors) and dean of admissions (regarding transfer students), the registrar oversees the Registrar’s Office, supervises the associate registrar, and directs the supervision of the office staff of two. Through the planning and implementation of academic policies and the management of academic information and reporting systems, the registrar plays an important role for the College. The registrar produces the College catalog and class and examination schedules, directs the office’s management of the honors program and external examinations, participates in planning and organizing Commencement, and manages the College calendar. Additionally, the registrar is the College’s FERPA officer, an occasional DSO for signing I-20s for the office of International Students, a Veterans Affairs School Certifying Official and the College’s Veterans Affairs single point of contact as needed, and supports and conducts institutional research as needed.

Gardener II Swarthmore
Provides timely and reliable support for gardening care and maintenance of the Scott Arboretum’s plant collections and landscaped areas, and performs other campus grounds keeping duties to maintain and keep safe the paths, roads, turf areas, fields, and additional properties of the College. Tasks performed with minimal supervision include: maintaining plant collections and garden areas by doing timely planting, weeding, mulching, and other horticultural duties; maintaining safety and aesthetic aspects of the campus, including trash, leaf and snow removal, and other grounds keeping duties; operating hand and power gardening tools and equipment safely and proficiently.
