Jacksonville State University is seeking applicants for a tenure-track position in Visual Communication/Graphic Design at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The selected candidate will be expected to teach a 3/3 load at all levels of visual communication design from undergraduate to graduate, fully engage in departmental duties, committee work, campus activities, and scholarship. The Department of Art + Design at Jacksonville State University, is accredited by NASAD, and offers an MFA in Visual Communication Design and BA and BFA degrees in Studio Art and Art History with concentrations in Ceramics, Illustration, Graphic Design, Painting, Photography, and Printmaking. The department also offers minors in Studio Art, Photography, and Art History. The Visual Communication/Graphic Design program at JSU is competitive, and fosters a culture of passion, craftsmanship, and an atmosphere of play. University Student Assistant - Campus Parking Enforcement Officer (Spring 2025) Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)
The University Student Assistant Campus Parking Enforcement Officer is responsible for the enforcement of University Parking Rules and Regulations. Duties may include the issuing of parking citations to vehicles in violation of University Parking Rules and Regulations, unlocking of car doors, assisting motorist upon request, use of parking enforcement devices, police radio use, body cameras, and educating student and visitors to campus of the University Parking Rules and Regulations. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions, may be assigned to day or evening shifts, serves as a liaison between the public and University departments, assist University Police Officers upon request, and maintains parking enforcement hardware and two-way radio. Assistant Professor, Music (Percussion) Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)
The David L. Walters Department of Music at Jacksonville State University (Jax State) invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Percussion for the Fall 2025 semester. Primary duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate applied percussion, percussion studio, percussion ensemble, and class percussion. Other responsibilities include recruiting and maintaining a quality percussion studio. The department offers undergraduate programs of study in Music Education, Music Performance, and General Music. In addition, the department offers graduate programs in General Music and Music Education. At least 18 graduate hours in the discipline are required.

The Department of Criminal Justice & Forensic Investigation invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice & Forensic Investigation. The position is for teaching undergraduate and graduate Criminal Justice and/or Forensic Investigation courses, based on applicant qualifications, and requires teaching competencies in the various fields of criminal justice or forensic investigation. Courses are offered through various delivery formats including face-to-face, hybrid/blended, and 100% on-line.
