Job Summary
Adjunct instructors are needed to teach the introductory level finance, economics, accounting, and statistics courses required for all business majors. Experience teaching in-person or online is desired. A minimum of 18 graduate hours in the discipline is desired.

Academically Jax State offers 101 academic programs and concentrations, including bachelor's, master's, post-baccalaureate, doctoral and advanced certificate programs in a variety of disciplines that prepare graduates for meaningful careers and ongoing education. More than 40 online programs are offered. Department Information
The Department of Finance, Economics, and Accounting within the College of Business & Industry consists of faculty who provide instruction, research, and service in their respective disciplines of finance, economics, accounting, statistics, real estate, and business law. We offer the Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with majors in finance, economics, and accounting. The Department also offers a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in economics.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree appropriate for the discipline, or training and experience in the field to be qualified to teach specific courses.
- Experience with in-person, hybrid, or online instruction desired.
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates who hold current relevant professional credentials.
- College or University teaching experience.
- Evidence of teaching excellence.
