Job Summary
The Department of Kinesiology is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach courses in the program areas of Health & Physical Education, Exercise Science & Wellness, Public Health, Dietetics & Nutrition, Athletic Training, and Sport Management & Recreation Studies at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. These courses are offered in-person, hybrid and online with experience in all three instruction methods preferred.
The minimum required qualifications for this position include a master's degree in one or more of the program areas indicated above including 18 credit hours in the specific desired teaching area. Any additional certifications or experience should be included to confirm teaching qualifications (i.e., Athletic Training certification, Registered Dietician).
The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for lectures, attendance, exams, grading and meeting university deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Health & Physical Education, Exercise Science & Wellness, Public Health, Dietetics & Nutrition, Athletic Training, and Sport Management & Recreation Studies or training and experience in the field to be qualified to teach specific courses.
- Experience with in-person, hybrid, or online instruction
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in one or more of the program areas indicated above.
- College or University teaching experience.
- Teaching and/or conducting action research either at K-12 or higher education levels
- Evidence of teaching excellence.
- Teaching experience.
- Experience working with culturally diverse populations.
