Director, Graduate and Accelerated Programs
Position Description
Jacksonville State University invites applications for the Director of Graduate and Accelerated Programs. The Director will report to the Associate Vice Provost and Dean of Graduate Studies and will assist with graduate, doctoral, Accelerated Senior Privilege, Faster Master’s, Legacy Path, and Dual Enrollment programs.
In this role, the Director oversees the graduate curriculum process, Graduate Assistantship and Thesis and Dissertation processes and guides, and advises graduate professional development students. The Director also works with the Dual Enrollment (DE) program and oversees all faculty processes, such as DE Faculty Liaisons, the onboarding and professional development of all DE faculty, the DE Faculty Scholarship process, accreditation, and the various guides associated with Dual Enrollment.
The Director works alongside the Associate Vice Provost and Dean of Graduate Studies to collaborate with Academic Departments, Enrollment Management, the Registrar’s Office, and other campus and external units to effectively lead graduate and accelerated programs at Jax State.
Jacksonville State University offers over 90 graduate and doctoral degrees and certificates with a rapidly growing Graduate School. Likewise, Jax State's Dual Enrollment program is one of the largest in the state, with an emphasis on student success.
