The Department of English seeks Adjunct Faculty to teach composition, writing studios, speech, and/or literature surveys, as well as other courses as needed, and conduct weekly office hours. Courses are taught in person, hybrid, and/or online. Applicants must have a minimum of a master’s degree in a field appropriate to the discipline with at least 18 hours completed in graduate-level English courses. Transcripts submitted with the application must show these minimum qualifications. In addition to their qualifications and experience, the cover letter must address the applicant’s availability to teach in person on the JSU campus Monday-Thursday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Fridays 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Adjunct Faculty - Kinesiology (Fall 2025 - Spring 2026) Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)
The Department of Kinesiology is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach courses in the program areas of Health & Physical Education, Exercise Science & Wellness, Public Health, Dietetics & Nutrition, Athletic Training, and Sport Management & Recreation Studies at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. These courses are offered in-person, hybrid and online with experience in all three instruction methods preferred. The minimum required qualifications for this position include a master's degree in one or more of the program areas indicated above including 18 credit hours in the specific desired teaching area. Any additional certifications or experience should be included to confirm teaching qualifications (i.e., Athletic Training certification, Registered Dietician). The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for lectures, attendance, exams, grading and meeting university deadlines.

The Criminal Justice & Forensic Investigation Department Federal Work Study Student Aid duties include administrative duties, such as answering the telephone, filing paperwork, making copies, and directing visitors to the offices for advisements.
