General Summary:
The Clinical Social Worker and Coordinator for University Health Services Counseling Center will provide high quality, time-effective, evidence-based and culturally responsive clinical services, including: triage; emergency and crisis intervention services; referrals and evaluations; as well as individual and group counseling and psychotherapy, with a special focus on responding to the needs of multicultural students. The incumbent will manage a caseload so as to serve the maximum number of students who are appropriate for services at the University Health Services Counseling Center; and will consult with and/or make timely and appropriate mental health referrals for students as needed. Some extended day or evening hours may be required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited Clinical Social Work Education (CSWE) program, with emphasis on clinical social work, and current Massachusetts licensure as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is required. A minimum of three-five (3-5) years of experience post-licensure delivering evidence-based and culturally-responsive crisis intervention, evaluation, and treatment to young adults and/or adults is required. Specialized experience providing mental health services to diverse cultural groups is required. Experience working in a college or university counseling center and/or experience providing services through the continuum of care (i.e. inpatient, partial hospital and outpatient) and proficiency in a second language other than English are preferred.
