General Summary:
The Associate Registrar for Curriculum Management is responsible for developing and managing systems and processes related to curriculum/requirement management in the Registrar’s office. The incumbent is responsible for the development and oversight of student planning and monitoring systems such as the degree audit system, the course planner and graduation tracking and certification. In addition, the incumbent will serve as project manager to develop and maintain the Curriculog and Acalog systems that track changes through university governance approval process, interpret them accurately and ensure that all related systems are kept current. The incumbent directly supervises the staff assigned to these areas and indirectly supervises and advises staff who work with these systems. They will work directly with department Chairs, Deans, Colleges and other academic and administrative offices to ensure that curriculum management systems are meeting the goals and targets set by the university. They will serve as the security administrator for these systems and will approve all requests for access and will also be responsible for creating and running reports as needed from these systems.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a closely related field and a minimum of seven to ten years higher education systems and administration. An additional four years of work experience in an Enrollment Management department with experience in university curriculum issues and business processes can be substituted for the required Bachelor’s Degree. Ability to negotiate complex processes and demonstrated analytical and program solving skills are required. Familiarity with FERPA and data security best practices is required. Functional to expert level familiarity with Microsoft Office systems required Knowledge of database systems, including COGNOS and SQL query experience is preferred. Thorough understanding of the requirements of a PS/U. Achieve interface is preferred.
