General Summary of Position:
Under the direction of the Principal Investigator or designee, the Research Coordinator I is responsible for carrying out multiple complex research protocols.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a social, behavioral or health science field plus some working experience in a related field. However, we will consider candidates with a HS diploma or GED/equivalent and 4+ years of health-related experience
- Bilingual or multilingual, ability to communicate proficiently in both English and any of Spanish, Vietnamese, or Chinese
- Proficient in use of productivity software (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong communication skills, both the oral and written necessary to interact with study participants, community organizations, and project team members
- Excellent organization, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel to off-site locations (having a vehicle and licensed to drive in MA)
Additional Considerations:
- Knowledge of geography and communities in Central and Northeastern Massachusetts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in working in communities
- Knowledge of federal requirements for the conduct of human studies
- 1 year of related experience

This is a Grants & Contracts (MTA/GRACE) bargaining unit position, Grade P13.
