We invite applications from tenured full professors or advanced associate professors from AACSB-accredited schools. The ideal candidates possess a record of nationally recognized research in Corporate Sustainability or Corporate Social Responsibility as evidenced by publications in top-tier journals. In addition, they can demonstrate excellence in teaching and service within their academic community and profession. Preferred candidates will also have strong external engagement with academic associations such as the Academy of Management and the Alliance for Research on Corporate Sustainability. The successful candidate will maintain a high-quality research agenda, mentor Ph.D., graduate, and undergraduate students, and collaborate with faculty. They will also develop courses on Corporate Sustainability and/or Corporate Social Responsibility at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Energy Manager 526629 Facilities Operations&Services
The Energy Manager holds a campus-wide responsibility for overseeing energy programs and analysis across approximately 4.97 million square feet of academic, research, administrative, and residential building space. This role is integral to advancing the University’s mission to achieve significant energy and cost savings while reducing its environmental impact by minimizing its carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emissions. The Energy Manager will play a critical role in developing, planning and implementing strategies to optimize energy use and reduce CO2 emissions across the University’s operations and capital programs. This includes advising on best practices, leveraging advanced building management system (BMS), maintaining a robust demand response program, and coordinating scheduled building retro-commissioning to ensure operational efficiency and sustainability. In addition, the Energy Manager will collaborate to monitor utility costs, develop an energy procurement strategy, and establish utility purchasing policies. This coordination ensures a cohesive approach to energy management, cost efficiency, and environmental stewardship. The University is a member of the “American College and University Presidents’ Climate Initiative” and is also participates in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts DOER Leading by Example Program to reduce the environmental impacts of state agency operations. The University is participating in the Commonwealth’s Building Energy Intelligence (CBEI) program, under which state-of-the art energy meters were installed to measure the performance of building energy systems, allowing the University to make real-time adjustments to save energy and costs, and identify longer term capital needs and is pursuing strategies to further MAEO-594 compliance.
