General Summary of Position:

The Enrollment Marketing Coordinator primarily supports the development and deployment of serialized marketing and communications "touch" campaigns (via email, SMS and other means) in order to cultivate applications, campus visits and enrollments. 
Some opportunities for hybrid/remote work available.  Position involves working across campuses. Due to the nature of social media work, this position requires occasional monitoring and responding to student inquiries outside of normal working hours. On rare occasions, may be asked to attend an evening or weekend event, typically no more than 3 times per year.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Two or more years of relevant experience (can be a combination of course work, professional and volunteer work) in marketing and communications or clearly related field
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing, editing and verbal communication
  • Experience with electronic technologies frequently used in marketing, such as customer relationship management tools, content management systems, blast email systems and project management systems
  • Demonstrated proficiency in social media and social media marketing
  • A work style that maintains collegial relationships without sacrificing the integrity or quality of the final product

Additional Considerations:

  • Academic degree in communications, marketing or related field
  • Experience in student recruitment marketing for higher education
  • Successful track record of leading complex projects with many deliverables and timelines that depend upon multiple collaborators
  • Expertise or experience in marketing analytics
  • Experience using Canva, or other graphic design tools, a plus
  • Experience with Slate will be highly regarded

Special Instructions to Applicants:

This is an SEIU 888 Professional Union position, Grade P16.
