General Summary of Position:
Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences (ZCHS) at UMass Lowell is seeking an Enrollment and Experiential Learning Coordinator to work within the college Dean’s office and collaborate across the college to support enrollment and experiential learning (Career Connected Experiences). In terms of enrollment, the coordinator will support transfer student enrollment and onboarding, as well as manage enrollment issues that arise with students in ZCHS. The coordinator will also play an integral role in planning and executing recruitment and yield events. The coordinator will also manage the administrative aspects of both experiential learning placements (e.g. internships, practicums, co-ops) across multiple degree programs and the maintenance of community partnerships, and will work collaboratively with departments to develop and sustain new partnerships.
Essential Job Duties:
1. Coordinate the transfer student registration and onboarding process, in collaboration with Transfer Coordinators and Department Administrators.
- Attend all Transfer Registration events to troubleshoot issues with student schedules.
- Provide transfer students to ZCHS with a warm welcome that fosters a sense of belonging.
- Assist with marketing and outreach with community colleges.
2. Provide Dean’s Office level support for experiential learning across the College.
- In collaboration with departments and department faculty, cultivate and sustain partnerships with community organizations to facilitate Career Connected Experiences (practicum, internship, capstone) for undergraduate and graduate students.
- Manage affiliation agreements and MOUs with agencies and organizations, and coordinate background check processes.
3. Assist with College recruitment and yield events.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and oversight of large- and small-scale recruitment and yield events.
- Work collaboratively to identify high schools and community colleges to prioritize for outreach.
4.Coordinate data analysis and reporting efforts regarding transfer enrollment and experiential learning.
- Analyze data on our transfer student population and prepare reports.
- Maintain a database including all clinical, community, and organizational partners and opportunities for experiential learning.
5. Support Health Sciences Student Hub operations and help maintain a positive environment for students to thrive.
- Oversee daily operations of the Hub, including student workers and provide support to TAs and tutors in the Hub.
- Collaborate with Assistant Dean and program coordinators to explore new opportunities to support student learning.
6. Maintain effective communications with faculty and community partners.

Working Conditions:
Position requires confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations, occasional work on evenings and weekends, off site travel for attendance at meetings and to healthcare facilities and community organizations
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Masters degree in health, business administration, education, or a related field with 3-5 years of related experience. Or Bachelors degree with 5-7 years related experience.
Additional Considerations:
- Experience in community health related activities.
- Must be detail oriented and highly organized.
- Demonstrated negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access; familiarity with use of ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with a variety of community-based partners and partner organizations.

Special Instructions to Applicants:
This position is full-time, benefited and in the SEIU Professional union in grade P17. Anticipated salary, based on qualifications/experience within range: minimum: $65,693 25th quartile: $74,725 and midpoint: $83,758.
