| The Director of Educator Field Placement, Licensure, and Workforce Development leads the School of Education’s efforts to strengthen the educator pipeline through high-quality field experiences, licensure alignment, and data-informed workforce strategies. The Director ensures that educator preparation programs produce equity-minded, effective, and licensed educators who meet the Commonwealth’s evolving workforce needs.
This position oversees the full continuum of educator preparation — from field placement identification to licensure endorsement and workforce data analysis — in compliance with Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) regulations. The Director provides leadership in partnership development, data systems, and assessment practices that connect preparation programs to statewide workforce priorities. |
