Mutual of Omaha is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer who will develop and maintain data-centric solutions and manage data warehouses to support our group insurance products. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technology roadmaps, design, architect and build scalable and efficient data pipelines, optimize data storage and retrieval, and ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle to provide seamless customer experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Design and develop efficient and scalable data solutions and pipelines to meet the operational and analytical data requirements of the business.
Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders on data management, architectural design, governance policies, and security measures to develop solutions that adhere to established standards, enhancing production environments and practices.
Work with business owners to improve data utilization and maximize information value within supported systems.
Develop, test and integrate new data features and functionality as defined by the product owners and business teams.
Implement data orchestration pipelines, data sourcing, cleansing, augmentation and quality control processes within supported data systems.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
At least 5 years of experience in data modeling, data pipelines and Informatica (CDI PC or IDMC)(ETL/ELT). Version control experience (GitHub preferred).
Cloud experience using AWS Glue, Lambda and AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
SQL, Python, Snowflake.
Ability to maintain data availability and quality through systematic approaches and methodologies for the supported data systems.
The ability to collaborate with others in a team environment including mentoring, engaging in code evaluations, and sharing expertise.

Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
PREFERRED:
MongoDB, Oracle, SQL server, Teradata.
Data warehousing, Qlik replicate.
MuleSoft.
