  • Estimated Salary: $75,000  to $110,000 plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead and Manage Sales Support Operations: Oversee day-to-day office and analyst team operations including hiring, time reporting, performance management, compensation recommendations, and workflow. Ensure alignment with corporate expectations and regional sales and retention priorities. 
  • Develop and Mentor Sales Analyst Team: Provide ongoing development through hands-on coaching, new hire training, and the introduction of tools, processes, and reporting designed to increase impact and efficiency. 
  • Drive Alignment with Sales Strategy: Partner closely with Regional Sales Leadership to ensure analyst activity is strategically aligned with local and regional sales goals, retention targets, and pipeline priorities. Monitor workload and execution against key performance objectives. 
  • Manage External Vendor Relationships: Serve as the point person for all external vendor and service relationships. 
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with internal partners across IT, Compliance, Procurement, and other shared services to educate staff on systems, policies, and security protocols, troubleshoot and resolve equipment, system access, and connectivity issues and ensure operational readiness, technology upgrades, and proper support tools are in place. 
  • Sales Support & Client Engagement: Partner with sales representatives and brokers to deliver proposals, quotes, and presentations. Participate in client or finalist meetings as needed to support business acquisition and retention. 
  • Proposal Management & Operational Execution: Lead the end-to-end management of the RFP and quoting process, including underwriting coordination. Manage post-sale activities like implementation, enrollment, compliance, and case setup to ensure a smooth client experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Operational and Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of group benefits operations, including sales support, underwriting, and client onboarding. 
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Proven experience managing external vendors and collaborating cross-functionally to resolve service or technology issues. 
  • Strategic Collaboration: Track record of working closely with sales leaders and internal business partners to align activities with business goals. 
  • Market Insight: Familiarity with competitor offerings and industry trends to help shape localized strategy. 
    Strong Communication & Interpersonal skills: Ability to influence, support, and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders—internal teams, brokers, vendors, and clients. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office, internal systems, and platforms to support documentation, analysis, and communication. 
  • Regulatory Understanding: Working knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance standards, ensuring risk mitigation and operational integrity. 
  • Willingness to Travel: Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel locally to support field activity and client engagement.

  • Ability to work from our Philadelphia, PA office in a hybrid capacity

PREFERRED:

  • 3+ years group office and industry experience
  • Management and growth experience
  • Licensed agent or actively pursuing appropriate licenses
