As an Actuary (or Sr. Actuary, depending on experience) you will play a key role in shaping the future of our Supplemental Health products. You’ll lead pricing and strategy efforts with visibility across the organization, while collaborating closely with both actuarial and non-actuarial partners. You’ll have the opportunity to drive high-value projects that modernize our products, contribute to innovative solutions, and be part of a forward-looking, supportive team. We value actuarial expertise and are committed to investing in your professional growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead pricing, profitability management, and monitoring of Supplemental Health products. You’ll play a key role in ensuring products remain competitive and financially sound, identifying adjustments as needed, and serving as the project leader for pricing efforts to coordinate smoothly across teams.
  • Analyze assumptions, develop rates, and provide financial projections. Your work will directly inform product creation and definition, guiding both strategy and day-to-day decisions.
  • Review results to spot trends, recommend actions, and support risk management. This includes both financial and non-financial outcomes, ensuring compliance with actuarial standards and proactive management of product performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business and present insights in clear, simple terms. You’ll work closely with Valuation, FP&A, Claims, Underwriting, and Sales, translating technical concepts into actionable recommendations.
  • Contribute to model development and mentor actuarial staff. You’ll support the growth of our actuarial tools and processes while providing guidance to student actuaries.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • FSA designation required.
  • Solid actuarial background with experience in pricing (preferred).
  • Familiarity with AXIS or other actuarial modeling tools.
  • Strong communication skills—able to explain technical concepts to non-technical partners.
  • Ability to lead projects, influence outcomes, and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • A mix of analytical depth and big-picture thinking.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
