| We are looking for a creative, curious, and analytically minded student to help create strategic content for social media and search engine / generative search visibility, that builds the Mutual of Omaha and Wild Kingdom brands. This person must be social media savvy, have basic knowledge of search engine optimized (SEO) and generative search optimized (GSO) content principles, and thrive in a ‘test, learn and evolve’ environment. You’ll be a key member of our content marketing team; concepting, planning, creating and sharing impactful content across our social media channels and for MutualofOmaha.com’s ‘Planning and Advice’. You’ll work with the team to measure the performance of our content and help identify and test ways to continuously improve the impact on defined goals. |

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Learn about the Mutual of Omaha and Wild Kingdom brands as well as our business strategy and the role that content and social media play in impacting both.
- Collaborate with content marketing and digital media teams to understand our content and social media strategy.
- Help ideate and create a variety of channel specific content in support of our brand marketing objectives.
- Work with our marketing analytics team to understand performance of content and collaborate to apply data-driven insights to continuously improve future content creation.
- Bring a fresh perspective on the evolving practice of content marketing, helping us to challenge the ‘status quo’ and explore new approaches.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Enrollment in a degree program related to Marketing, Communications, or Journalism both before and after the internship.
- Understanding of social media platforms and their role in strategic marketing, as well as a strong comfort level with photography, social copywriting, and shooting short video content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Basic knowledge of search engine optimized (SEO) and generative search optimized (GSO) content principles, along with strong writing and editing skills. A highly collaborative nature, along with the ability to work independently to manage your projects and hit key deadlines.
- An eagerness to learn and to share your own knowledge and perspective of social media marketing.
- Skills in verbal and written communication, human relations, creativity.
- You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
- Ability to work at our home office located in Omaha, Nebraska, in a hybrid environment.
