The Lead Associate Financial Services Consultant supports the insurance and investment needs of Mutual of Omaha associates, retirees, field employees, and their families while serving as a hands‑on, working lead within the Associates Financial Services Office. This role combines day‑to‑day team support with meaningful individual client interactions.

- Estimated Salary: $65,000-70,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Serve as a working lead within the Associates Financial Services Office by providing day‑to‑day direction, guidance, and support to associates, escalating complex or sensitive issues as needed.
- Partner with leadership to coordinate work, manage schedules, and prioritize workloads to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
- Coach, mentor, and train team members, including supporting onboarding and ongoing development of new associates.
- Market Mutual of Omaha insurance and investment products to eligible associates, retirees, and their families through presentations, seminars, lunch‑and‑learns, and orientation sessions; support internal educational outreach efforts as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state, federal, and corporate regulations, sales practices, and licensing requirements, while completing continuing education to remain current on products and industry standards.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Strong knowledge of life, health, annuity, and property/casualty insurance coverages, as well as retirement and estate planning concepts.
- In‑depth understanding of insurance contract administration, servicing practices, and related regulatory requirements.
- Effective marketing, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence others.
- Background in financial planning and individual insurance marketing and sales, with solid PC and system skills.
- Active health and life insurance license (or ability to obtain), along with FINRA registration (SIE and Series 6 or 7, and Series 63 if applicable) within six months of hire.

- Ability to work at our home office located in Omaha, Nebraska, in a hybrid environment.

PREFERRED:
- 5+ years of experience selling Mutual of Omaha insurance products.
