Join our team as a Life Claims Analyst, where you will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and thorough claim assessments while providing an exceptional customer experience. In this role, you will analyze claims, determine appropriate next steps, and ensure all decisions align with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for adhering to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Training will be from 8:00am CST - 4:30pm CST for up to 6 weeks.  Following training, you will move to the closing shift, which is 9:00am CST - 5:30pm CST.

  • Estimated Salary: $22.25, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Evaluates and processes complex Life insurance claims by analyzing medical records, contract language, and supporting documentation to determine accurate and timely payment or denial decisions.
  • Provides exceptional customer service through phone, email, and written correspondence by resolving inquiries, explaining claim determinations, and handling escalated issues professionally.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, industry standards, and federal/state regulations while maintaining high levels of accuracy, productivity, and quality.
  • Collaborates with internal teams, legal, underwriting, and special investigations to support claim resolution, process improvements, training initiatives, and service delivery enhancements.
  • Demonstrates strong decision-making, communication, adaptability, and relationship-building skills while maintaining a customer-first focus and contributing to team success and continuous learning.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Insurance product knowledge of Business area.
  • Experience with the application of policies, practices and procedures in a business environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Presentation skills.
