Join a high-performing Public Corporate Bond team managing over $12B in assets as part of a broader $50B+ investment portfolio. This role focuses on municipal and government-related credit analysis, offering the opportunity to influence investment decisions and build deep sector expertise.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU: 

  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications)
    • Investment Analyst: $75,000-$95,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
    • Senior Investment Analyst: $95,000-$115,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Conduct in-depth credit analysis across municipal issuers and government-related taxable sectors (e.g. private public partnerships) to develop Buy/Sell/Hold recommendations.
  • Analyze new issue and secondary market opportunities, contributing to portfolio strategy and positioning.
  • Monitor portfolio credits for meaningful developments impacting credit quality, internal ratings, or valuations.
  • Develop and maintain credit memos, documentation, and sector expertise to support investment decisions and compliance requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, sell-side analysts, rating agencies, and industry experts to enhance market insights.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in municipal credit analysis, research, trading, or related fixed income disciplines.
  • Foundational understanding of fixed income markets and financial statement analysis.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • You promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work at our office located in Omaha, NE, in a hybrid environment.

PREFERRED:

  • Advanced degree (MBA or similar) and/or progress toward or completion of the CFA program.
