WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Develops and executes the advanced markets and competitive intelligence strategy for Retail Solutions and Life Insurance Solutions by monitoring industry trends, legislative developments, economic conditions, consumer needs, product innovation, and competitor activity to identify opportunities, anticipate market shifts, and influence business decisions that strengthen competitive positioning and drive growth.
- Provides strategic leadership in the creation and delivery of advanced sales concepts, planning strategies, and advisor solutions related to estate planning, business insurance, retirement planning, wealth transfer, and other complex financial needs, ensuring advisors have practical tools and actionable insights that increase adoption, deepen client relationships, and generate new sales opportunities.
- Leads the development of advisor-facing resources, including planning tools, calculators, presentations, sales concepts, and digital solutions, that enhance advisor productivity, improve engagement, simplify complex planning discussions, and drive measurable adoption across the field organization.
- Partners closely with Product Development, Distribution, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Operations leaders to identify emerging market opportunities, develop innovative business solutions, and successfully bring new concepts, capabilities, and resources to market in support of strategic business objectives.
- Serves as the organization's recognized expert and thought leader on advanced markets concepts and industry developments, delivering education, training, and strategic guidance that enhances advisor knowledge, strengthens field confidence, and positions the company as a trusted resource for complex planning solutions.
- Leads the evaluation and application of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to improve advisor effectiveness, planning capabilities, client outcomes, competitive differentiation, and operational efficiency while ensuring solutions align with regulatory, compliance, and business requirements.
- Provides leadership and direction for the Advanced Markets organization by developing talent, building organizational capabilities, establishing strategic priorities, and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement that delivers exceptional value to advisors and supports the long-term growth objectives of Retail Solutions and Life Insurance Solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in advanced markets, financial services, insurance distribution, product strategy, sales support, wealth planning, or a related discipline, including significant leadership responsibility.
- Deep expertise in estate planning, business insurance, retirement planning, wealth transfer strategies, advanced sales concepts, and the practical application of those disciplines within insurance and financial services distribution.
- Demonstrated success leading advanced markets, competitive intelligence, product support, advisor solutions, or related functions while influencing strategy and business outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and market assessment capabilities with experience translating industry, competitor, legislative, and consumer insights into actionable business strategies and advisor solutions.
- Proven ability to develop innovative advisor tools, training programs, thought leadership, and sales resources that drive field adoption, advisor engagement, competitive advantage, and business growth.
- You promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
- Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
- Able to travel approximately 35% annually.
