As a Business Systems Consultant, you will help bridge business needs and technology solutions to drive meaningful outcomes across our digital products, platforms, and business capabilities. 

Our Business Systems Consultants serve as trusted partners to business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, architects, and operational leaders. They help identify opportunities, clarify business problems, map future-state processes, define requirements, and support the delivery of solutions that improve customer experiences and business results. 

Successful candidates are naturally curious, adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working in environments where priorities, technology, and business needs evolve quickly. 

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Compensation:
    • Business Systems Consultant I: $75,500 - $97.000, plus annual bonus opportunity. 
    • Business Systems Consultant II: $86,000 - $114,000, plus annual bonus opportunity. 
    • Business Systems Consultant III: $99,000-133,500, plus annual bonus opportunity. 
  • This position may be filled at the Business Systems Consultant I, II, or III level. Placement will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, skills,
  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Partner with business leaders, Product Owners, developers, architects, and subject matter experts to understand business challenges and identify solution opportunities. 
  • Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into requirements, workflows, user stories, business rules, and implementation plans. 

  • Analyze current-state and future-state processes to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and operational improvement. 

  • Support strategic initiatives, product enhancements, vendor integrations, and technology modernization efforts. 

  • Collaborate with Agile teams throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure solutions align with business objectives and deliver expected outcomes. 

  • Build strong relationships across business and technology teams while supporting change adoption and continuous improvement. 

  • Partner with business and technology teams to define validation criteria, support user acceptance testing, assess solution readiness, and ensure delivered capabilities meet business requirements and quality expectations. 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to connect business needs to technology solutions. 

  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and defining business requirements. 

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with technical and non-technical audiences. 

  • Ability to influence outcomes through collaboration, partnership, and stakeholder engagement. 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. 

  • Curiosity, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning and improvement. 

  • You promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do. 

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico. 

PREFERRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Insurance, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 

  • Experience within insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries. 

  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, process improvement, change management, or product development practices. 

  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects, including system modernization, technology implementations, and business process improvement initiatives.
