We’re looking for a technically strong, analytical Business Systems Analyst/Consultant to help administer, optimize, and enhance business systems while turning data into meaningful insights through reporting and dashboards. This role partners with business and technology teams to support system functionality, testing, reporting, process improvements, and new technology implementations.
This role may be filled at the Business Systems Analyst II or III, or Business Systems Consultant I level, depending on experience.

- Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications):
- Business Systems Analyst II: $59,800 - $76,180, plus annual bonus opportunity.
- Business Systems Analyst III: $68,000 - $87,500, plus annual bonus opportunity.
- Business Systems Consultant I: $75,500 - $97,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Administer and optimize business systems by managing system objects, configurations, data, user access, and other system functionality while identifying opportunities to improve processes and system performance.
- Analyze data and develop reporting and dashboards that provide actionable insights and support business decisions. Identify trends, investigate issues, and translate complex information into meaningful recommendations.
- Lead system testing and upgrades by developing test plans, coordinating testing activities, validating business and technical requirements, and helping ensure successful implementation of system enhancements.
- Partner with business and technology teams to gather and analyze requirements, conduct process walk-throughs, identify solutions, and support the implementation and administration of new technologies. Provide consultation and training to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
- Support vendors and technology initiatives through vendor coordination, cost-benefit analysis, issue resolution, and ongoing evaluation of system capabilities and opportunities for improvement.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Strong business systems administration experience, including experience managing system functionality, configurations, data, user access, system objects, or similar administrative responsibilities.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and dashboarding skills, with the ability to work with complex data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable business insights. Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting tools is a plus.
- Experience with system testing, upgrades, and implementations, including developing or executing test plans, validating requirements, troubleshooting issues, and supporting system enhancements.
- Business analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather requirements, evaluate processes, recommend improvements, and work independently on moderately complex technical and business challenges.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams, work with vendors, and provide consultation or training to stakeholders.
- Experience with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) processes or platforms such as Optro (formerly AuditBoard), Archer, or OpenPages is a plus.

- Able to work at our office located in Omaha, NE, in a hybrid environment (approximately 1 day per week).

PREFERRED:
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and a solid understanding of SDLC, BABOK, or DMBOK principles.
- Knowledge of insurance products, industry regulations, business operations, or related legislative processes.
- Experience with quantitative, statistical, or data analysis, as well as test or process automation used to improve workflows and systems.
