The Dock Operations Specialist supports the safe, secure, and efficient operation of dock, shipping, receiving, mail, inventory, and material movement activities. This role coordinates deliveries, facility logistics, and vendor operations while ensuring a high level of service to associates, tenants, visitors, and business partners.
The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, customer-service oriented, and able to manage multiple logistics activities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, coordination, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are essential for ensuring smooth day-to-day dock and facility operations.

- Hourly Wage: $23.25 - $25.00, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Coordinate the receipt, distribution, storage, and shipment of packages, freight, mail, materials, and equipment.
- Execute dock, inventory, material handling, and facility logistics activities while maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, operational, and regulatory requirements while identifying potential risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers to deliver effective logistics and facility support.
- Support business continuity and continuous improvement by adapting to changing needs, assisting with special projects, and identifying process efficiencies.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Strong customer service, communication, organization, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of security, visitor/vendor access, building life safety procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
- Physically able to stand and walk for most of the workday, occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds, and work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of inventory control and material staging; able to comply with OSHA standards and obtain required PIT certification with reliable attendance.
- You promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
- Able to work at our office located in Omaha, Nebraska in an in-office environment.

PREFERRED:
- Prior experience in dock operations, shipping and receiving, mailroom, warehouse, or facilities support, preferably in a corporate office or commercial building environment
- PIT - Powered Industrial Truck Cert - within 90 Days.
