Mutual of Omaha is seeking a Manager of Business Systems Analysis to lead teams delivering high-impact solutions across Workplace Solutions. This role is responsible for leading 1–3 Agile teams of Business Systems Analysts (SAFe ART-aligned) and ensuring strong execution across business analysis, solution design, and quality delivery. 

The ideal candidate combines strong people leadership, delivery ownership, adaptability and technical depth—particularly across enterprise platforms, API data integrations, and quality practices that include test planning and test automation tools and processes. They build and develop high-performing teams, navigate complex challenges, and deliver meaningful business outcomes. 

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • $120,000 to $140,000, eligible for annual bonus, as applicable.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Team Leadership & Development 

  • Lead, coach, and develop Business Analysts and emerging leaders 

  • Accountability for requirements quality, test traceability and planning, results, and production readiness 

  • Drive performance management, engagement, and capability building across Business Analyst teams 

  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration 

Delivery Execution & Business Analysis 

  • Own delivery outcomes for assigned teams, ensuring predictable and high-quality execution aligned to priorities 

  • Oversee business analysis activities including requirements, process design, acceptance criteria, and traceability 

  • Remove impediments and ensure delivery commitments are met 

Quality, Testing, Automation & Production Readiness 

  • Lead test planning and coordination across initiatives and teams 

  • Partner with QA to strengthen defect prevention, test coverage, and release quality 

  • Mature testing practices and increase automated testing coverage 

  • Utilize metrics (defects, incidents, cycle time) to drive improvements 

  • Identify and improve systemic issues (rework, handoffs, unclear ownership) 

  • Champion operational excellence and organizational change practices  

Stakeholder Engagement & Influence 

  • Facilitate alignment on scope, priorities, trade-offs, and risks 

  • Communicate clearly with leaders and stakeholders at all levels 

  • Build strong relationships across business and technology teams to foster alignment and collaboration. 

  • Promote an enterprise mindset that balances team, department, and organizational objectives. 

 WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
  • 5+ years of business systems analysis, software development, or consulting disciplines. 

  • 3+ years of people management experience of 12+ direct reports. 

  • 3+ years of experience implementing and supporting API integrations. 

  • Experience with requirements management, process modeling, and delivery execution and support. 

  • Experience with automated testing, cross-functional test planning, test execution management, and User Acceptance testing. 

  • Hands-on experience working with APIs and integrations with third party vendor platforms.

 PREFERRED:  

  • Experience in group insurance, financial services, or Workplace Solutions domains 

  • Experience with Workday (preferred), Salesforce, or other enterprise platforms 

  • Experience developing metrics, dashboards, and executive-level reporting 

  • Successfully operation within a SAFe environment (ARTs, multi-team coordination) 

  • Demonstrated experience leveraging test automation tools (e.g., Karate, Selenium), including adoption, team enablement, and expansion of automation capabilities and business value. (Strongly desired, not required) 

This role is classified as remote; however, occasional in-person attendance will be required at times for activities such as project planning, training, or other business-critical meetings.
