Assistant Outlet Manager

About the Resort:
We are Australia’s only theme park resort, located in Main Beach, our hotel boasts beautiful views of the Broadwater, and is just a few minutes’ walk from the Spit.

About the role:
To ensure efficient running of assigned Food & Beverage outlets, achieving expected levels of guest & team member satisfaction while delivering the desired revenue and profitability.

Duties:
• Control, monitor and report expenditure and labor hours and costs against expenses and wages budgets
• Manage the Food and Beverage outlets to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively and oversee stock levels
• Keep up-to-date with current trends and provide input into menu design
• Develop, recommend and implement an upsell program and ensure targets are achieved through diligent monitoring and relevant training
• Oversee the management and co-ordination of the Food & Beverage teams including resource planning, recruitment and performance management
• Set service standards for the delivery of appropriate training to team members enabling great experiences to guests
• Receive and review relevant health and safety information and reports to ensure all areas are compliant

Skills and Experience:
• Proven experience in successfully leading a team and maximizing performance
• Ability to understand outlet budgets
• Exposure to high volume Food & Beverage outlets
• RSA required (valid in Qld)
• Responsible Management of a Licensed Venue (RMLV) is desirable (valid in Qld)
