About the role:
Sea World Resort has a unique opportunity for an experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our diverse team.
We are passionate about our team maintaining a work life balance, this role is full time with approximate shifts time of 2pm to 10pm, Wednesday to Sunday. Being a family resort, there won’t be many late nights!
Duties:
• Supervise the team ensuring every guest that visits Sea World Resort experiences excellent guest service.
• Monitor shift changes, sick leave and annual leave to ensure adequate team member coverage.
• Conduct regular team member meetings and create a positive and highly motivational work environment.
• Train and develop Food and Beverage staff.
• Work alongside all Food and Beverage Supervisors and be willing and adaptable to assist in other areas as required.
Skills and Experience:
• Previous food and beverage supervisory experience essential
• Understanding of a Japanese Restaurant
• Intermediate wine and Sake knowledge
• Current QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) essential
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team required
• A positive and proactive approach with the ability to work under pressure
• Exceptional guest service and communication skills
• Excellent grooming standards, professionalism and reliability
• Japanese language skills, a bonus!
