About the Role:
As a Duty Manager, you’ll be an essential part of our leadership team, overseeing daily operations and ensuring each guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience. Reporting to the site senior leadership team, your responsibilities include:
- Managing front-of-house operations, including venue opening and closing, cash handling, and end-of-shift reconciliation.
- Leading and coaching team members on Service Steps, setting them up to deliver top-notch guest service.
- Handling guest needs and resolving escalations with professionalism and care.
- Managing rosters effectively, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation, and ensuring compliance with OHS, food safety, and security standards.
- Supporting inventory processes, recording stock movements accurately, and ensuring the cinema meets Village Cinemas’ high standards of presentation.
About You:

- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality
Availability Requirements:
As a Duty Manager, you’ll play a key role during peak periods. We’re looking for team members with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
