The opportunity:
We are looking for a dedicated Specialist Advisor to join our team and help deliver best-in-class Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental compliance across VRTP properties. We aim to provide a safe and healthy environment for our team and guests.

Your day to day:
• Develop and maintain our Hearing Conservation Program including monitoring, testing, training, and recordkeeping.
• Conduct active inspections across VRTP properties to identify current and potential environmental health risks.
• Undertake Environmental Health compliance duties including sampling and auditing across Food Safety, Water Quality, Noise, and other environmental areas.
• Develop and implement an annual audit program covering water quality, noise, and food safety.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, to meet regulatory requirements.
• Respond to reported health matters and complaints affecting employees or guests.
• Support OHS strategies and plans to continuously improve VRTP’s safety, environmental and wellbeing performance.

What you’ll bring:
• Essential: Audiologist or Audiometrist qualification with minimum 3 years’ experience in audiometric testing.
• Highly regarded: Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Health, Public Health, or Science (or willingness to obtain).
• Food Safety Supervisor Qualification.
• Cert IV in OHS or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in auditing, monitoring, reviewing risks, and incident management.
• Good understanding of Environmental & Public Health legislation, Australian Standards, and ISO requirements.
• Knowledge of assessing food premises, environmental nuisances, on-site water treatment systems, and other environmental health matters.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with stakeholders across all business areas.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
