The opportunity:
Village Roadshow Theme Parks is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive to develop and implement initiatives that maximize visitor volume and revenue through diverse programs aimed at engaging and inspiring both international and domestic group visitation.
Reporting to the Head of International Sales, you will assist in managing and expanding group ticketing partnerships and developing comprehensive sales strategies. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and industry partners will be key to fostering repeat business and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will create impactful initiatives to boost visitor numbers and revenue, engage diverse groups, and build strong ties with international guests, corporate partners, and industry leaders.

Your day to day:
•   Manage existing group ticketing partner programs and lead the development and implementation of comprehensive sales strategies to drive group sales revenue, focusing on corporate clients, associations, and special interest organizations.
•   Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate decision-makers and industry partners, to drive repeat business and ensure high customer satisfaction.
•   Collaborate closely with the marketing team to create targeted promotional campaigns and sales collateral tailored to the group market segment.
•   Prepare and present compelling proposals, pricing quotes, and presentations to prospects, effectively articulating the value proposition of our theme parks as group destination.
•   Utilize CRM systems and sales tools to track leads, manage accounts, and generate accurate sales forecasts and reports for management review.

What you’ll bring:
•   The ideal candidate should possess Business or Marketing qualification or experience in a similar role.
•   Proactive team player with the ability to work autonomously.
•   Strong written and oral communication skills.
•   Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
•   Proven sales and marketing acumen with a deep understanding of tourism industry distribution models.
•   Results-oriented with strong strategic, tactical, analytical, and planning skills.
•   Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Dynamics365 and general computer literacy.
•   Demonstrated high level of customer service.
•   Effective communication skills across various levels of management and staff.
•   Excellent time management and organizational skills.
•   Current Open Driver’s License.
