The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced actress/singer to cover two lead roles in Australian Outback Spectaculars Heartland.

Character Descriptions:
Marge Carsons runs a cattle farm with her husband Reg and their daughter Sarah during one of the worst droughts in Australia’s history. She is determined to keep their family business afloat even though money is scarce, and feed is hard to come by. The financial burdens are starting to take their toll, yet they must fight tooth and nail to keep the banks at bay.

Trish Thompson is a good friend to the Carsons who runs her own cattle station with her children. She has a good sense of humor yet remains private about her own affairs. On the outside she looks as if she has things under control when in truth, she is about to lose the farm that has been in the Thompson family over 5 generations.

Your day to day:
• Maintain consistency and continuity in every show.
• Ensure all show equipment and devices are maintained and used to the highest safety levels
• Work with and treat all animals with care and respect
• Maintain your appearance as set by the show design, makeup and costume personnel
• Participate in publicity and promotions activities
• Maintain a high standard of voice and singing technique

What you’ll bring:
• Demonstrated professional experience in the Entertainment industry
• Exceptional vocal technique in both speaking and singing
• Ability to play the part of two females in their early to mid-40’s
• Prior experience in a lead role or supporting role an advantage
• Demonstrated strong improvisation and performance skills
• Previous experience working with horses would be an advantage, but not essential
• Must be available to work on any day 3:45pm-10:00pm
