- Bring your previous contact centre, retail or industrial experience to our fast-paced, high-volume operational environment

We’re seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our fast‑paced and collaborative team, supporting a large, predominantly frontline workforce. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in operational, high‑volume environments and is comfortable balancing hands‑on people support with strategic business partnering.
You’ll work closely with leaders across the business to deliver practical, commercially‑focused HR solutions that support performance, engagement and compliance at scale. This is a role where visibility matters – you’ll spend time with leaders and teams, understand the operational rhythm of the business, and help translate people strategy into outcomes that work on the frontline.
You will also provide day‑to‑day leadership to a HR Advisor, coaching and developing them while jointly supporting a workforce of 500+ employees.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Act as the primary HR partner for leaders managing large, frontline teams, providing expert advice on performance management, employee relations, grievances, and complex case management.
- Support employee engagement and organisational effectiveness through strong on‑site presence, clear communication, leader capability uplift, and practical people solutions suited to high‑volume workforces.
- Lead remuneration and benefits processes including benchmarking, performance reviews, incentive programs, and continuous improvement of recognition initiatives.
- Ensure strong governance and compliance across HR operations, including contracts, parental leave, WHS processes, policy application, and accurate documentation of all ER matters.
- Contribute to talent and workforce planning by supporting succession planning, identifying high‑potential talent, and facilitating fair, objective internal selection processes.
- Lead and deliver people initiatives and projects, using data and insight to influence decisions and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Provide coaching, guidance and workload prioritisation for a HR Advisor, ensuring consistent, high‑quality HR support across the employee population.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor experience supporting large employee populations (ideally 300+ employees) in frontline or operational environments.
- Experience working with contact centre, retail, manufacturing, logistics, industrial or similarly structured workforces where volume, pace and compliance are critical.
- Strong, practical knowledge of employment legislation and Awards, with confidence managing complex employee relations matters.
- Comfortable operating in a hands‑on, high‑volume environment, balancing competing priorities and providing clear, pragmatic advice to leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to influence leaders at multiple levels and build trusted partnerships in fast‑moving, operational settings.
- Experience leading or mentoring junior HR team members.
This role is best suited to a candidate who has supported large, operational workforces. Experience with contact centre environments is highly valued.
