About the Role
St Francis Xavier College is seeking to recruit a Year Coordinator to join our team in a temporary capacity . The College is seeking a person who is committed to the vision of the College ‘Living the truth, leading with courage, learning for life’ and is invested in promoting the mission of Catholic education. The successful applicant will be an experienced educator, will have demonstrated successful demonstrated experience as a secondary teacher and will possess initiative, integrity and vision.
The Year Coordinator provides expert leadership in pastoral care and student wellbeing of a year group from Years 7 -12 utilising best practice in current research, evidence and innovation to meet the needs of all learners. As a member of the Pastoral Leadership team, the Year Coordinator reports to the Assistant Principal Student Wellbeing and to the Principal in realising the vision and mission of the College.
A vacancy will later be advertised for permanent filling in 2026.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Teaching or Master in Teaching.
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
- Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
