About the Role  

The Senior Technical Support Officer plays an important role in delivering high-quality, responsive, and efficient technical support to staff and students across Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG). This role provides expert-level technical assistance and acts as an escalation point for complex issues, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption to teaching and learning. The Senior Technical Support Officer contributes to the smooth operation of IT systems by managing support requests, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and mentoring junior team members. With a strong focus on customer service and technical excellence, this role is essential in maintaining the reliability and effectiveness of the organisation’s digital infrastructure.

About Us  

The CECG provides education in the ACT and NSW, operating 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs). The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services to Schools and ELCs through seven Service Areas, including: Education and Performance Improvement; Catholic Identity; School and Family Services; Strategy and Special Projects; Finance and Infrastructure; Information and Communication Technology; and People and Culture.

Qualifications  

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology (IT) or relevant field.
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) and NSW Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) registrations.
  • Driver’s Licence.
